Francisco Sá Carneiro International Airport is located about 12 Km from the City Centre. There are two good options to travel to the city and to the university area: metro and taxi.

By bus
From Boavista, take the bus 204, destination Hospital São João.
From Baixa, take the bus 305, destination Hospital São João.

Metro do Porto operates a metro line between the airport and the city. Individual fare is €1.20 and it takes about 35 minutes. The metro nearest stop from university area is I.P.O - Line D. For more information, please check the link www.metrodoporto.pt
