Nature of the ATRS Conferences

The ATRS annual conference includes participation from all facets of the aviation industry: airlines, airports, ATC, aerospace, government officials, consultants and academics. In addition to paper presentations, the conference will also offer invited keynote speakers from industry and a panel session on current and critical issues facing the industry.

Selected programs of past conferences are available on ATRS website [www.atrsworld.org]. The Programme for the 2009 ATRS Conference will be updated from time to time as detailed planning proceeds.

Special Issues of Journals: In the past, every year we have published selected papers from the ATRS conferences in ATRS special issues of Journal of Air Transport Management, Transportation Research E, Journal of Air Transportation, and less frequently Transport Policy: The Official Journal of WCTR Society. We will attempt to continue with this effort.
